Anaheim
Anaheim is the most populated city in the Orange County with a population of 365,463. The city is known for its theme parks, such as Disneyland, and its sports team. Anaheim was originally settled in 1857 by fifty German industries who named the area “Ana” after the Santa Ana river, and “heim” meaning home. The city of Anaheim has a total of 50.8 square miles and is only 25 miles from Downtown Los Angeles.

The city of Santa Ana was named so by Friar Junipero Serra in 1769. The city has a total area of 27.5 square miles and is the 4th most densely populated place in the United States with a population of 324,528. The city’s core is downtown Santa Ana, home to the Santa Ana Civic Center and several historic homes dating from the late 1800’s.

Santa Ana experiences a Mediterranean climate with a rainfall average of 14 inches per year. The median income for households is $43,412.
